Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress who is well-known for her performances in the movies 'Beta' 'Saajan' and 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' . Her professional career started in the early 1980s. She gained fame through her role as a support actor in the film Tezaab. Next, she appeared in the film "Dil" where she shared screen space with Aamir Khan. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing as a child. As a youngster she tried acting, but failed for a few years. Her career eventually took off and she eventually became one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. After her wedding the couple separated and returned to the entertainment business. Recently, she had an important role in the film 'Gulaab Gang", which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit is nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. She was also presented with the Padma Shri award, India's fourth-highest civilian award. She is well-known for her work with the social sector in addition to her work with the social sector.
